PJ's Saltwater Adventures

Our saltwater flyfishing trips are based within the sheltered waters of an estuary environment. This beautiful location features firm bottomed flats we fish these by wading in very shallow water. We also fish the deeper channels and high water from the bow of the centre console boat with help from the latest in trolling motors.

You will travel in style by boat from the river Avon into the estuary which is very scenic and packed with wildlife. The skipper will brief you on the tides and conditions. He will also inform you about the plan for the day. This often involves visiting various locations through the tides cycle. We anchor up adjacent to the shallow flats as the crew assist you in preparing for wading the flats. The boat remains accessible throughout the trip for those who wish to use it as a rest area, tackle store and coffee shop. These trips are perfect for those interested in saltwater flyfishing.

Spare rods and reels are available in various sizes from a 6 wieght thru to a 10 wieght rod, these can be hired as needed. We also carry leaders and flies, so whatever else you need can be supplied, relax,we’ve got you covered. Our standard flats trips are usually for single anglers or a couple. However, we can host larger groups who prefer to fish the beaches for Bass or a mix of species. We can also support the trip organiser with arrangements as needed. Short evening boat trips are also available for those who want to sneak out after work. These trips are for fishing with lures or fly for multiple species.
